An idea for a fun photo game was bounced around the office. After a while, it landed on my lap. Once it got to me, I thought "eh, what the hell, this sounds fun" and started working on it. The game is now used and re-purposed regularly as an original WWE.com interactive content piece. Try it out! See how far you can get!

Rounin - Senior Year Class Project (2000-2001)
Submitted by Jeff on Mon, 09/21/2009 - 23:14This was an animation I did with my buddies back in 2000-2001? It's been such a long time ago, I forgot what year or which semester. Anyways, a few of my friends and I took advantage of a surprise course that year, Japanese Society through Anime and Manga (I think that's the title?) taught by a Japanese professor specializing in Asian Anthropology. It was only natural for all of us to enroll since I was the founder of our Anime Club at Bowdoin (BAS) and all of my friends were members and/or officers. Since we were representing the club, we had to out-do everyone and not just hand in an essay as our final project. Some groups created mangas, but ours was the only one to do an Anime Short created in Flash. The result is the video below. It took a lot of hard work, but we had a lot of fun. I was the director, script writer, character illustrator and animator and I even did a few voice overs. Please enjoy!

Submitted by Jeff on Wed, 10/15/2008 - 18:18After coming back from the 2008 Flash Forward Conference in San Francisco, I was giddy with motivation and eagerness to flex my actionscript muscles. Largely inspired by the genius of Erik Natzke's "paintings" in Flash and his mesmerizing showcase at the conference, I decided to do something similar on my own. Of course, my stuff is child's play compared to his work, but nonetheless I had fun relearning trigonometry and doing something with Flash that was creative and not necessarily useful or applicable in actual projects.
