CableFax Best of Web Honorable Mention!

The WWE SummerSlam 2008 Microsite that I helped design and built with Alan Chappell has received an honorable mention from CableFax's Best of Web Awards in the Supplemental Web Content category. Thanks again to Alan for his awesome design work, Mark for entering us in all these awards contests and the video department for getting us the great keyed-out footage of the superstars. It's amazing how much we accomplished and all the accolades we have received to date for a project that was nothing short of creativity, technological feats and overall hard work. We were among great company for the award, such as: AMC's The Prisoner, Discovery's When We Left Earth, and Comcast's The Sunny Side Up Show. Official Webby Honoree!

Just received notification that the WWE SummerSlam Microsite that I helped design and built has been selected as an Official Honoree for the Television category in The 13th Annual Webby Awards. Amongst other winners, to name a few, are: SouthParkStudios, Comedy Central Redesign and AdultSwim.

ESPN Releases Beta Redesign (Review)

ESPN.com just released the beta version of their new redesign (http://beta.espn.go.com/) and unlike their past redesigns, it affects index pages across the board and actually adds value to the website by cleaning up the interface. To my surprise, someone finally decided to take out content instead of adding, adopting the "less is more" approach.

After giving it a test run for the past few days, I have the following observations to share:
